i love how things change depending on what character you play, with the different lands and godtiers and whatnot. It's cool to see and makes restarting a bit more fun!
Today I randomly decided to check out my snakestuck game again because I still love homestuck and sometimes come back to it. Even though not actively doing anything with it anymore. And I found this comment which wasn't that old compared to some others!
It's a shame that the images on AO3 were down for so long there was a problem with the server certificate where I hosted them on but that has been resolved recently. I had noticed it very late since I hadn't checked forever. since this is now a year old I have no idea if you'd still be interested but now you could take a look haha. anyway I only ever finished act 1 out of 3 (and yes the whole thing is fully plotted but I didn't finish writing all the dialogue). It still has an important place in my heart.
I'm doing very well in 2025! I got into JayVik (from Arcane) this year which reactivated my motivation to create giant projects again and I hadn't drawn in years. (working on another comic project now which I'll start uploading to AO3 as soon as I get some actual pages done).
thank you!! I think you are one of the few people who actually beat the game XD Sorry for the late reply. Haven't been on itch.io in a while. Still proud of this little game though!
Super old reply but I haven't been around itch.io in a long time. Thanks a lot, I'm glad you had fun with it!
And just saw this now. In case you'd still like to know: this was done with construct 2 which creates a html5 game. sadly I can't just create an executable windows file with this software (as far as I know. might have changed now. Construct 3 has been around for a while now which I haven't looked at)

thank you! it was so much fun choosing fitting music to all the lands! it was really hard to choose sometimes
What a suprise, idly searching for snake games while bored out of my godddamn mind, to find a Homestuck game from 10 years ago!
It's fantastic that the description links to an AO3 fancomic! Shame that the pics seem to have gone down.
Discovering this little historical artifact made me very happy - hope you're doing well in 2024 ChibiEdo!

Great snake game and great music! Not many snake games have levels these days. Would you be interested in making a downloadable version for Windows?

You are welcome, you reminded me to play it again :~)
As for converting it to a Windows executable, it's easy enough with a specialized tool, just use this guide:

...and why not put your game up for purchasing at some point since it's truly of decent quality :~)
